I'm sorry that is dumb advice, you should always put what you expect you should get paid, especially if you have experience. If you don't put anything they will think you don't know what your worth.





The reason why they ask that dumb question is to see if you are in the pay range at which they are going to pay you. Its a game to them, you say $8.00 they say $7.50, they love to play head games with the applications, that is funny to me.





Tell your friend to say $10.00 an hour, then let them work there down from $10.00. You might get 9.50 but that is better than 7.50, get my point.
