How to apply eyeliner???

I wear eyeliner a lot. But I usually put it on too heavy. I can't make a very thin line on my upper eyelids...and if I try to make it thinner with makeup remover, it smudges a lot. I use pencil eyeliner and sharpen the pencil a lot. Any suggestions? Should I use liquid eyeliner or something? Thanks!How to apply eyeliner???

if you try liquid eye liner be careful because it leaks into your eye really easily. The first time I used it on my top lid It got every where in my eye and it turned my whole eye ball gray and I couldn't see and it burned lol.





try using the twist up kind of eye liner that is already sharpened for you.





Also, try applying it right next to your eye ball. Instead of putting it on OVER your eye lashes. Try applying it almost touching your eyeball UNDERNEATH your eye lashes.





Or, try only wearing eyeliner on the bottom and mascara on the top. It should give you the same look. :)
I don't wear eye liner a lot, but when I do I put the tip of the pencil on my lower lid and close my eye so the pencil touches the top lid and bottum lid. I really carefully move the pencil from corner to corner of my eyes. If there's a lot under the eye, dab unscented lotion on toilet paper, that'll wipe eyeliner right off.
use liquid and put it where you normally would and put it on as sloppy as you want, dont worry about how sloppy the line is. once it dries a little get a few q-tips and then put spit on it and wipe it off the eye lid and it is perfectly in the lash line.

ummm... i would stop putting it on the top if it is difficult for u!! i put my eyeliner on the bottom of my eye and it looks very clean and exact!! when u put it on the top and it smudges, etc... it makes it hard to make it look cute!!





oh yeah, don't use liquid eyeliner... its even messier!! :[

Hah, I was horrible at applying eyeliner the first day i got it. I just found this video. Put your elbow on a table/stand while looking in your mirror. Don't pull on your eyelid. Gently move your pencil across your lid. If you make a mistake, just use your eyeliner eraser. Hope this helps!
yes liquid eyeliner works good- but i personally dont like it- what i do is sharpen my pencil really good- then get it a little warm with a lighter( so it goes on easy) let it dry for like 10 secs. and apply

try using a liquid eyeliner for the top, it does take practice though. If you are not comfortable with liquid use a self sharpening pencil or the twist up kind, they are a little easier to use.
definatly use liquid eyliner on top and regular on the bottom and mascara on both the bottom and top and eyeshadow on the lid. use eyeshadow that matches ur eye color or use gold or silver or really anycolor that looks good on u haha ok hope i helped bibi :D
I agree with Kathleen. I used the pencil, and i always got too much. Get a really thin, twist up one, and it works alot better. Remember to smudge it INTO the lash line, not just on the lid. Hope you become a pro! :)

o btw...liquid eyeliner is hard to use sometimes..because i is liquid and can run and smudge and stuff like that [personal experience]
i like the eyeliner that you twist up, i think its easier to make a thin line with that. you have to be really good at liquid eyeliner to put it on correctly and for it to look good.
Cream eyeliner such as the ones in the HIP line work great and they're easy to remove in case you make a mistake. I definitely had a problem with getting the lines too thick but using this has helped. good luck

use the kind of eyeliner that you twist out of the stick. then you can do it thick or thin. i used to use pencil, but it was a hassle and too hard. and no, liquid is even harder to put on thin.
you should get liquid eye liner if you think you put it on too thick

You should use eyeliner with a twisty-tip. It is ALOT easier that the pencil kind. When you apply it go back and forth over the same line instead of making the line thicker. For more help email me! :) Hope this helped!
Just make your eyelid line straight, and do it right on your hairline of your eyelashes. Make sure it's even! Don't sharpen the pencil, it's better a little dull.
you can try using an angle eye make up brush. The line at the outer corner should be thicker and it should go thinner as it moves to the inner corner of your eye.
