im stumped how do u put this strip on , glue it ? iron it on , please let me know im just looking at this strip and exposed edge and havent got a clue !How to apply worktop edging strip?

Further to Gary's answer - it helps iof you glue the 'porous' face of the worktop once, let it dry then glue it again. Apply glue to strip and when both are 'dry' press into palce. Use a file, or surform to remove the extra width but DON't file the worktop.
Using edging strip is a waste of time. It will always become disconnected or broken off. Go to your nearest DIY. store and buy worktop edgings that screw on, a simple and long lasting solution.

Most of them have compact glue on them. Just line up and iron them on , not steam, leave to cool then trim round with Stanley blade. If not use Evo Stick
superglue.
or even better, use no-more-nails or equivalent.
The back should peel off
you need to fix it on with a contact glue like evo stik then file the edges with a smooth file.
