use blobs that are about 3'; thick so u can push the board in,so it spreads behind a little to help stick,Mark the wall where the board is going to fit,then put blobs in three lines from top to bottom,,,,one to line to left of board,one to centre and one to the right, then apply a row of blobs along the bottom of wall where the board finishes, this allows no movement when you fit the skirting board. lift the board at least 25mm from bottom of he floor to stop damp getting on board and rotting plaster.use a long spirit level to knock the board level...hope this helps
you use the bonding adhesive bought in 25kg bags from any builders merchants ..on a 6 by3 board i use 15 dots ..size about an inch thick 100mm by 100mm round i do this every week ..and you don't need anything else
Do you mean plaster-board? If so an easy and cheap way is silocone. We get it really cheap and it seems to have done the job for me.
use a adhesive like liquid nails, it would not hurt to add a few nails to help support the boards
