I know how to encrypt a WinZip-compressed file. However, I wish to switch over to a free version of Win RAR file compression software, and I would like to encrypt and apply a password for opening my compressed files. Can any one help with some useful advice?How do I encrypt (i.e. apply a password protocol in order to open) a file that has been compressed by WinRAR?
