First you need an Air compressor and a Hopper....then you get what is called ceiling popcorn ...You spray the ceiling and then use a Sheetrock knife...the wider the better and less arm pain...all you do after you spray the ceiling is to use the shekrock knife like a brush and apply enought press to have the blade with a slight bend...then let it dry...Now if the ceiling isn't primed or painted the texture will pull away after some time depending on the moisture level in your house...so prime the ceiling...also wear headgear...and and clothes...it is very messy....If you have any more question on this you can email me at wood42ras@yahoo.comHow do you apply knockdown to ceilings?
