Hoping to apply to Queens University in Kingston (Canada). How competitive is this school?

I'm going into English literature or archaeology. What is this school best known for?Hoping to apply to Queens University in Kingston (Canada). How competitive is this school?
Where are you from? Are you a Canadian High School Student or International Student?

What are your marks?

Anyway, Queen is fairly competitive, but not as competitive as the guys above me made you believe. I guess it depends on what your marks are and what program you going into. You'll need marks in the mid 80s or above for most programs I would say. For English literature or archaeology, I THINK the bare minumum is low 80s, not exactly sure. You should give them a call to get more information, they are always happy to help you.

Queen is known for Kinesiology, Commerce, Arts and Science, off the top of my head. There's probably more...

Use the website if you need more info.

very competitive. I know that the university is famous for its law school and engineering
Well historically the school is well known for Law. Queens is a recognized school around the world and is also an Ivy league level education. Within Canada it's one of the top 3, those being University of Toronto, McGuill and of course Queens in no particular order. Queens would probably be your best chose in Canada for literature, but I would think that University of Toronto would be better for archaeology.
its the Harvard of Canada

about as competitive as 40 dogs who havent been fed for a week fighting over 1 steak bone
