How do I approach the manager at a fast food chain to apply for a job?

I have not yet held a real job, but I would like to apply to work at a fast food place. I want to carry myself in the most professional way possible and ask the appropiate questions. Also is it necesary to bring a resume if it doesn't have anything relevant to the job you're applying for in? Please help. Thanks in advanceHow do I approach the manager at a fast food chain to apply for a job?
You only approach him early in the morning when hopefully he is not busy, and you go with a resume in hand. You mention you are there to apply for a position, while handing him your resume.

Know who the manager is ahead of time, and only go when he seems to be not real busy, or he probably won't even notice you. Also, do not dress as a slob, nor go with friends. How do I approach the manager at a fast food chain to apply for a job?
Yes it is necessary to bring a resume when you are applying for work, or if you don't want to bring resumes with you, then ask for a business card, but a lot of times I don't think that this will work with fast food restaurants. Your best bet is to arm yourself with lots of resumes and go around to the fast food restaurants that you would like to go around to, and ask, ';Can I speak to the Manager of your restaurant';? Some people may say, well we are sorry, but the manager is not currently here. You can either leave a resume with the worker, or you can ask when they expect the manager to be in. Then that is when you would come and give them the resume. It is your choice.
Well I would say just dress nicely, go in when they are not too busy, and ask to speak with the manager. Then once the manager comes to talk to you just ask him/her if they are accepting applications and if him/her says yes then ask if you can have one, sit down, fill it out, and give it back to the manager. Say thank you and I look forward to hearing from you and walk out the door. No resume is needed unless you have some experience in that particular field. Odds are you will get a job if you are neat, clean, and nice. Good luck and welcome to the world of work!
The best time to talk to the manager is before 11:00a.m. (they are usually busy between 11:00-2:00 and then 5:00-700).

You could get an application ahead of time and have it filled out before you get there.Make sure it is filled out all the way. Ask what the managers name is and if he or she is available.

Be sure you are neat and clean , make sure your hair is clean and under control.Speak up in a clear voice .

Some places do not like peirceings so remove them if you really want a job(nose, eyebrow, tongue, lip) Earrings are usually fine with- in reason(not a bunch up the ear).

If you get an interview but haven't heard anything from them call and ask to talk to the manager to let them now you are still interested.

Ask what the hours are, how much they pay.uniforms ,tred safe shoes

Hope this helps.

Good Luck!
If you want to apply for the chain. Go to corporate to apply for the job and follow their guide lines. If you go in person and not internet or other, bring your resume with you.
I suggest you to try project payday, simply because you don't need any money up front and you can start making money within minutes. I average around 3,500 dollars every month with it. Check it out at http://dFL8.me/payday
